We want all who visit with us to feel welcome and to find that this is a place where God is glorified, Jesus is lifted up, and the members truly love each other from the heart.   

Most who have not attended services at our building before have questions and we have attempted to address some of the most common ones here.  We realize that a website isn't a good representation of any congregation and so we hope you will take the time to come and get to know us in person.  If you have additional questions that are not answered on this page, or elsewhere on the site, please call or email us.  

1.  What type of praise and worship do you have?  A cappella singing (only voices, no instrumental accompaniment), with a combination of hymns and contemporary songs. 

 2.  How often do you partake of communion?   We observe communion every Sunday morning and offer it again on Sunday evenings for those who were unable to attend the morning worship. 

 3.  How do people dress?   You will find that many people dress somewhat casually; however we welcome all types of attire that are considered modest.   Some men wear suits some wear jeans and a polo shirt.   Some ladies wear dresses, while others wear slacks or jeans. 

 4.  Do you expect visitors to contribute to your offerings?  While gifts from our visitors are always appreciated, we do not expect you to contribute.  If you are a member of another congregation, we encourage you to give there.

 5.  When are your services held?  We have morning worship services on Sunday at 11:00 AM with Bible Classes (Sunday School) for all ages from 10:00-10:45AM.   Sunday morning services are Sign Language interpreted.  Those wishing to make use of this will find the best view of the interpreter in the front, left portion of the auditorium.  Please contact us for questions regarding this.  Sunday evening services are held at 6:00 PM.  On Wednesday evenings, we have a devotional period at 7:00 PM followed by classes for all ages at approximately 7:15 till 8:15.

 6.  How do I become a member of the TabernacleChurch of Christ?   Those desiring to place membership should speak with Bill McGee or one of our Shepherds.  In addition, Tom Shuff or another deacon would be glad to assist you.  

 6.  How many people attend Tabernacle?  We average 115 to 130 in attendance of our Sunday morning worship services.
