What will I see during worship services?
As a visitor, our hope is that you feel welcomed and uplifted by our worship services. Many churches structure their services differently so we'd like to give you a thumbnail view of our Sunday morning services.
Singing

Singing is a wonderful part of our service of praise to God and encouragement to each other.  You'll notice that we sing a variety of different types of songs from the grand old sweet songs to the more modern or contemporary songs.  Likewise, we use both our songbooks and at times an overhead screen. Our singing is congregational and is without instrumental accompaniment (or a cappella).  Simply speaking, it is our collective voice raised to God.

Prayer
We are a praying church so you will hear several prayers during the worship service.  What a great blessing it is to be able to approach our Creator in prayer.   We also pray regularly outside of the worship service and so we welcome any requests you may have for prayer on your behalf.  Please click the Pray Icon for a link to submit such a request or call us at 609-268-0576.
Preaching
The preacher will give a lesson of approximately twenty minutes.  His lessons are always Bible-centeredand engaging.  We are a  Bible-based church, so we strive to remain as close to the teachings in God's Word as wepossibly can.  You will find that the preaching reflects this desire.
Invitation
At the end of the sermon the preacher usually extends an invitation to the gathering.  This provides anopportunity for anyone to respond publicly to the lesson, to the need for prayer, or to be baptized and become aforgiven and saved member of the church, which is the body of Christ.
Lord's Supper
Each Sunday morning we participate in the ceremony established by Jesus.  This ceremony was perpetuated by the Apostles and practiced by the early church.  It is our opportunity to commune with Jesus while we focus upon the sacrifice Jesus gave for us all.
Offering
As a visitor and our guest, you aren't expected to contribute.  Please feel free to pass the collection plate down the row.   If you are a member somewhere else, we encourage you to contribute there.
